Head of Business Development – Corporate Advisory Services

The Head of Business Development will be responsible for designing, building, and leading the Business Development function for NWM’s Corporate Advisory Services. The role focuses on driving pipeline growth, establishing structured client acquisition processes, and contributing to the development of a high-performing Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a structured corporate acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Identify and engage with senior stakeholders including HR Directors, CFOs, and CEOs across corporate entities
  • Drive pipeline growth across DIFC, ADGM, and Mainland UAE
  • Maintain ownership of pipeline reporting, forecasting, and revenue generation targets

Business Development Infrastructure

  • Design and implement a comprehensive Business Development framework and playbook
  • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Advisory Services to develop client pitch materials and value propositions
  • Establish and maintain a structured lead tracking and reporting system
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with law firms, consultancies, trustees, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate client and prospect engagement initiatives, including corporate events

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant professional qualifications are advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Development or Sales roles
  • Demonstrated track record in acquiring corporate or institutional clients within financial services or related sectors
  • Experience engaging with clients in DIFC and ADGM environments
  • Strong understanding of consultative, long-cycle sales processes
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior management and C-suite stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented with a strong commercial mindset
  • Currently based in the UAE

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience in building or formalising a Business Development function
  • Knowledge of workplace savings, retirement, or incentive solutions
  • Experience in organising corporate events and client engagement initiatives
  • Established professional network within the UAE corporate sector
  • Fluency in Arabic
  • CFA qualification or progress towards completion
